By accessing or using Chef AI ("Chef AI", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Chef AI is a mobile application that provides:

• AI-powered recipe generation
• Ingredient-based cooking recommendations
• Meal planning and recipe saving
• Ingredient and food recognition from text or photos
• Personalized cooking guidance and suggestions

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Chef AI, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

• Grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the Service
• Represent that you have the right to submit the content
• Agree that your content does not violate third-party rights

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Cooking & Nutrition Disclaimer

Chef AI is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.

The Service provides general cooking and food-related information. You acknowledge that:

• Recipes and suggestions are generated automatically and may not be suitable for all dietary needs
• You should consult qualified professionals before making dietary or health-related decisions
• You are responsible for checking ingredients for allergens and safety
• Cooking outcomes and nutritional needs vary by individual

We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability of generated recipes or recommendations.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality are owned by Chef AI and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute Service content without permission
• Use Chef AI branding or trademarks without written consent
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Create derivative works based on the Service

8. Privacy

Your use of Chef AI is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of information as described in that policy.

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Chef AI may require a paid subscription. If you choose to subscribe:

• You authorize us to charge your selected payment method
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings
• Refunds are handled according to applicable platform policies
• Subscription prices may change with reasonable notice

Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

Chef AI may include integrations or links to third-party services not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEF AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, or use
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 12 months

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chef AI and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of third-party rights
• Your submitted content

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. You may delete your account at any time.
